About this qualification

This qualification is designed to support the development of registered managers of adult social care services. The qualification provides learners with the
knowledge and skills needed to work in adult social care and to have responsibility for leading and managing a service. This will include managing
and improving care and support for those accessing the service, supporting and developing the workforce, and driving the vision for their service or
organisation.

It covers a wide range of topics including:

Who is it suitable for?

This qualification is most suitable for those working in a managerial role in adult care settings who are looking to progress their career. It is also appropriate for managers who have not yet achieved a vocational qualification at level 5.


What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but learners will need to be at least 19 years of age. It is also recommended that they hold a level 3 qualification or above in a related area.
